The Cadet Corps Membership
Become a volunteer (candidate) and take up the Cadet Corps Challenge. We are highly trained law enforcement and academic professionals, with over 70 years of experience in our respective fields. We are determined to "keep the negative elements of society away from our children." However, we cannot accomplish this task alone. We are in the process of expanding our programs, which will include research regarding the criminal justice and education system in the six regions in the United States:

Program Coordinator Positions for All 50 States(VOLUNTEER)
Take up The Cadet Corps challenge. The Cadet Corps is dedicated to combating juvenile delinquency and preventing youth incarceration through leadership and mentoring programs. You must work in the following professions:
- Full-time Active Duty or Retired Police Officer in good standing
- Full-Time Active or Retired Educator in good standing

Duties/Responsibilities
The position is a program coordinator. The position will be responsible for establishing partnerships with designated municipal, county, or state officials regarding The Cadet Corps. They will be responsible for meeting with officials in a designated assigned area through phone contact, personal conferences and group meetings to understand the youth and his or her family better and to facilitate activities to assist in behavioral intervention.
The coordinator will serve as an example/role model to demonstrate that adults can give, and should receive, respect. Also, self-realization and improved self-esteem for the young person are important goals of the relationship. This program is for high school, middle school, and elementary school children as well as rural, urban, and suburban kids. The goal is to keep our children away from the negative elements of our communities. It should be emphasized that the coordinator in no way replaces the parent or the family's social worker. Rather, he or she provides leadership and guidance.

Requirements/Qualifications
- A graduate of a certified state law enforcement police academy or a state-certified school teacher
- Willing to submit to a criminal history check

Location
The project seeks to place coordinators as close to their own homes as possible. During the course of interviewing and placement. Coordinators will have the opportunity to state any preferences and The Cadet Corps will comply with these preferences as nearly as possible. Before making any match, our project staff will consider location, interests, skills, background and knowledge.
Volunteer Benefits
- Training sessions are offered on a regular basis for the volunteers' personal growth and development.
- Volunteers can assume that their skills in working with young people will increase and that their work will lead to more challenging volunteer assignments if that is their desire.
- Volunteers receive ongoing support and recognition. A staff person will be assigned to work with them.
- Our volunteers have been hired by major colleges/university because of The Cadet Corps background.

Grants Administrators (Remote Location)
Grants administrators will provide leadership and direction for programs funded by federal, state, and private funds; oversee the financial administration of federal, state, and private grants; and ensure that program staff accomplish their approved program initiatives and that the program officer meets compliance and reporting requirements. They will also assist in the budget development process and perform budget analysis duties as assigned by the president or his/her designee.
Recruiting Coordinator Internship (Remote Location)
The recruiting coordinator internship is a volunteer position. We are building a team of recruiters. The recruiting coordinator will implement strategic recruiting of college students for The Cadet Corps mentoring programs. We are looking for someone who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of tasks; and leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is also expected. The recruiting coordinator for internship typically reports to the president of The Cadet Corps.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- A part-time or full-time college student from an accredited college or university, or a graduate from an accredited college or university
