Programs
Get involved with programs for our youth. The Cadet Corps is dedicated to combating juvenile delinquency and preventing youth incarceration through leadership and mentoring programs.
- Leadership Program
- Our comprehensive leadership program is tailored to instill essential leadership qualities, fostering a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and accountability. Through empowering and hands-on activities, we help our participants develop the skills necessary to become successful leaders in their communities. We will assist high school and college graduates with their resumes and interviewing skills to seek employment.
- Summer Camp
- We offer a blend of adventure, learning, and personal growth. Our camp provides a safe and supportive environment for youth to engage in character-building activities, form friendships, and build lifelong memories while gaining valuable life skills.
- Motivation/Monitoring Program
- At The Cadet Corps, we aim to provide guidance and support to youth, ensuring they stay on the right path as they navigate through life's challenges and achieve their goals with confidence.
Headquarters Staff
Meet The Cadet Corps Headquarters staff headed by our founder and president, Clayton Staton, a 34-year veteran of law enforcement.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to intervene in the early stages of the lives of students with the goal of creating structure, self-respect, and self-discipline. Our broader goals are to conduct criminal justice and educational research.
About Us
The Cadet Corps is an independent, nonprofit corporation founded by New Jersey State Troopers in 1996. Since then, we have mentored thousands of children in this country. We chose to work with young people to help them overcome the challenges in their lives and avoid delinquency and the justice system.
Our leadership team has more than 70 years of experience in law enforcement and education. With extensive experience in the field, we have designed our alternative youth programs to bridge the gap between law enforcement officers and the youth. We have a partnership with Each One Teach One (EOTO) youth program in Georgia and New Jersey.
We are dedicated to helping our youth avoid the negative elements in society. We are located in Mahwah, NJ, and we will soon attempt to serve communities across more states.
